Terms of Service
Last updated: April 14, 2026
These terms apply when you use LawnCareCalc (“the service”). By signing in or by submitting an estimate request through a contractor’s calculator, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
What the service is
LawnCareCalc lets landscaping contractors describe their pricing in plain language and turns that description into a shareable calculator their customers can fill out to get an estimate range. The service is offered as-is and is currently free to use.
Estimates are not quotes
This is the most important thing on this page, so please read it carefully:
An estimate produced by LawnCareCalc is a non-binding price range, not a contract or a firm quote. Final pricing for any job depends on the contractor’s on-site assessment and the agreement they reach with the customer. Neither the contractor nor LawnCareCalc is obligated to honor the estimate amount.
Customers should treat estimates as a rough budget guide. Contractors should treat estimates as a lead-qualification tool, not a binding commitment to a price.
Contractor accounts
To create a calculator you sign in with a Google account. You’re responsible for keeping that Google account secure. You’re also responsible for the content of the pricing policy you publish — it must accurately describe how you price your work, and it must not violate any law or third-party right.
One Google account corresponds to one shop in the current version of the service.
Customer submissions
When a customer fills out a contractor’s calculator, we send the answers to the contractor who owns that calculator and store them so the contractor can follow up. Customers should not submit information they don’t want the contractor to receive.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any business that isn’t lawfully permitted in your jurisdiction
- Submit policies or content that are deceptive, fraudulent, or designed to mislead customers about price
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, bot protection, or other technical controls
- Scrape other contractors’ pages, attempt to enumerate slugs, or otherwise access data that isn’t yours
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or rebrand the service without written permission
- Use the service to send spam, harass anyone, or harvest contact information
AI-generated content
LawnCareCalc uses an AI model to help you draft your pricing policy and to compute estimate ranges. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent. You are responsible for reviewing your published policy and calculator before sharing them with customers, and for sanity-checking any estimate before quoting it to a real client.
Service availability
We try to keep the service running, but we don’t guarantee any particular uptime, response time, or feature availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we shut the service down entirely, we’ll give you reasonable advance notice and a way to export your policy.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that puts other users or our infrastructure at risk.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don’t warrant that estimates are accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will fit any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LawnCareCalc and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of your use of the service. This includes — without limitation — disputes between contractors and customers about price, scope, or job outcome.
If a court finds we are liable despite the above, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to USD $100 or the amount you’ve paid us in the last twelve months, whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold LawnCareCalc harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your pricing policy, your customer interactions, or your violation of these terms.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
