Privacy Policy

LawnCareCalc (“we”, “us”) helps landscaping contractors create instant-estimate calculators for their customers. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We try to keep this short and plain. If something here is unclear, email support@lawncarecalc.com.

Who this applies to

Two groups of people use LawnCareCalc, and we collect different things from each:

• Contractors — business owners who sign in with Google to build a pricing policy and publish a calculator.
• Customers — homeowners and prospects who fill out a contractor’s published calculator to get an estimate range.

What we collect from contractors

When a contractor signs in with Google, we receive and store:

• Your Google account email address
• Your Google profile name
• Your Google profile picture URL
• A unique Google account identifier

We do not see or store your Google password. We only request the basic profile and email scopes from Google — nothing else.

When you build a pricing policy, we store the policy text you write (or that the AI helps you write), the calculator form structure generated from it, and the public slug you choose. None of this content is shared with other contractors.

What we collect from customers

When a customer submits an estimate request through a contractor’s calculator, we store the answers they entered (lot size, service type, etc.) along with any contact information the contractor’s form asks for. The contractor who owns the calculator can see those submissions; we use them only to produce the estimate and to deliver the lead to the contractor.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to filter out automated bots on customer estimate forms. Turnstile may collect limited browser signals to make that determination; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Cookies and sessions

When a contractor signs in, we set a single first-party session cookie on app.lawncarecalc.com. The cookie holds an opaque identifier that maps to a session record on our server. We use it only to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use AI

We send the policy text you write — and only that text — to Anthropic via the Cloudflare AI Gateway, in order to generate the calculator form structure and to compute estimates. Your customers’ submissions are also sent to the model when an estimate is being computed. Anthropic does not train its models on data sent through the API. We do not send your Google profile data, account email, or session information to any AI provider.

Where data is stored

LawnCareCalc runs on Cloudflare Workers, with data stored in Cloudflare D1 (a SQLite-backed database). Cloudflare may process and store this data in any of its global data centers.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share contractor or customer data with third parties for marketing. We share data only with the infrastructure providers we use to operate the service (Cloudflare, Google for sign-in, Anthropic for AI), and only to the extent necessary to provide the feature you’re using.

Your choices

• You can sign out at any time from the contractor dashboard, which ends your session.
• You can request that we delete your account, your pricing policies, and the customer submissions tied to your shop by emailing support@lawncarecalc.com.
• Customers who submitted a request through a contractor’s calculator can ask that contractor to remove their submission, or contact us directly.

Children

LawnCareCalc is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
